Before Equa focused on proposal consulting, we were a government contractor ourselves. We know what it feels like to chase the next opportunity while managing the work on hand.
Our approach is built from that experience. We speak the same government contracting language that you and your customers to, and we know how to help you tell your story in a way that is clear, credible, and compelling.
The start
Equa was established in 2009, building on the owner’s experience supporting prime contractors and learning what it takes to compete for government work.
First Government Contracts
Our first prime contracts with the GSA, Army, and other agencies consisted of small repair, renovation, and upgrade projects that gave us firsthand experience managing government work.
Government Contracting Growth
Equa used those early wins to pursue larger and more complex opportunities, including IDIQ contracts, MACCs, MATOCs, SABERs, JOCs, and other contract vehicles with multiple agencies.
Our Shift Into Proposal Writing
Over time, we realized the proposal process was where we could make the greatest impact. We loved shaping the strategy, telling the story, and helping our partners compete for work that could move their businesses forward.
Who We are Today
Today, Equa uses our experience as a prime contractor to help other companies grow in government contracting, whether they are pursuing their first public-sector opportunity or their 100th.
